research

My research has focused on stroke and cerebral vascular disease. More specifically, we have investigated mechanisms of cerebral aneurysm formation and rupture, secondary mechanisms of brain injury following stroke and translational therapies to improve patient care. Additionally, we have conducted outcomes research on neurological disease.

More recently, I have become interested in artificial intelligence and its applications to improve health. My long term research interests are to integrate my background in neuroscience and healthcare with an increasing expertise in computer science to understand brain health and how to optimize it longitudinally.
